Boiler 101 is an in-person fundamentals training course focused on the operation of industrial steam systems and conventional high-pressure boilers. The course is designed to build practical boiler room knowledge using instruction from trainers with real-world steam operations experience. It prepares participants to safely operate, maintain, and understand steam systems for long-term reliability and efficiency.​

High-Pressure Boiler Operator
​
A boiler operator must have specific qualifications to sit for the State of Ohio License Exam.
To qualify for a High Pressure Boiler Operator License: You must have 700 hours experience on Boilers plus this 75-Hour Boiler Training Course for 1,300 Credit Hours toward experience. Otherwise, you’ll need 2,000 hours of experience on boilers. Please contact us to learn more about this license.

Stationary Steam Engineer License
​​
This course functions as an excellent refresher for those installing, operating, and maintaining steam turbine equipment, auxiliary systems, and condensers in existing plants. In order to take this course a student must first have completed the Steamworks HPBO course or currently hold a High Pressure Boiler Operator’s license and is looking to upgrade her or his license.
The Stationary Steam Engineer Licensing Program is a State of Ohio-approved program. This program, along with the High-Pressure Boiler Operator Licensing program, prepares the participant to sit for the State of Ohio Third Class Stationary Steam Engineer License exam.
