Ammonia operator refresher

Course Description

This one-day refresher training course is customized to your specific ammonia refrigeration system and applicable safe work practices. Training topics include, but are not limited to: Refrigeration cycle, SOPs, abnormal conditions, MI, daily rounds, SDS, safety system functions, block flow diagrams and other drawings, basic electricity, PPE, respiratory protection, chemical exposure, limitations, MOC, hot work, line break, LOTO, confined space, and other PSM-related topics.

Prerequisites:

Employee(s) must have initial training on the applicable job tasks they're assigned.

Annual Requirement:

This course meets and exceeds the requirements for "Refresher Training".

​

At least every three years, and more often if necessary.

​

NOTE: Refresher training is required for each employee involved in operating your process.
