Now that your team is fully trained to the level required, everyone must refresh that training each year to keep their certifications current! We offer an Annual Refresher course that will always meet and exceed OSHA's refresher requirement for any level of training in the HAZWOPER standard.

If you or your employees are trained in accordance with Paragraph (e) of the standard for Hazardous Waste Site Workers, you must receive at least 8 hours of refresher training annually that covers topics learned in the initial training, as well as critiquing of incidents that occurred within the past year.

If your employees must comply with Paragraph (q) for Emergency Responders, then they must receive annual refresher training of sufficient duration and content to maintain their competency in the level they are trained to. We feel the "sufficient duration and content" is easily met within 8 hours.

Fortunately, you won't have to worry about certifications expiring or employees losing their valuable skills when you schedule our Annual Refresher course. This is an 8-hour course that exceeds the requirement by providing a mix of classroom and hands-on activities to your team.

We encourage booking the Refresher Trainings on Day #3 of our Hazmat Emergency Response course if this is the case. It's great when the participants who are finishing their initial training get to work alongside the participants needing refreshed!
